A return to the roots
After a master's degree in marketing and sustainable development , I returned to Polynesia with the desire to contribute. I started my career in business, but I felt a lack: I wanted to create something closer to my values and my fenua.

Facing the challenge of plastic
In recent years, bans on single-use plastic have been tightened in Polynesia. It was when they discovered RPET , a material made from recycled plastic bottles, that an idea emerged: to offer a sustainable alternative that would be useful on a daily basis.

Heritage and colors of fenua
My grandmother was a seamstress, specializing in dresses and tifaifai. Her love for the fabrics, patterns, and colors of Polynesia deeply inspired us. It is thanks to this heritage that KIANI today carries a local and authentic touch.

A responsible response
This is how KIANI was born: first conceived as a practical and eco-friendly shopping bag, then naturally adopted as an everyday tote bag. More than just an accessory, it tells a story of family, culture, and commitment.
